Chesterfield Carers Centre

Our Resource Hub on Boythorpe Avenue is open from 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) and our telephone lines are open from 9am to 4:30pm.

Our Chesterfield Centre is located in the town centre making it ideally situated for carers to speak with a support worker, gather information, have an assessment, get an emergency plan or receive signposting to other organisations. There will be restricted access to the office, therefore in order to attend we must receive prior notice. Please contact the office on 01246 559524 to arrange a visit.

Support Groups are also located here, Carers can meet together to share information and experiences facilitated by volunteers with guest speakers attending to present and give demonstrations.

A Carers Assessment documents your caring role and identifies your requirements. Following a Carers Assessment we may suggest possible interventions which can support you in your caring role, this includes signposting to a Carers Emergency Plan which is available to Carers who care for someone over the age of 18 years, this scheme is administered by Derbyshire County Council.

The Chesterfield Carers Centre work with other organisations to give Carers the best possible support.
