Do you, or the person you look after receive support from a professional home care worker?

Home care workers are paid professionals who support people in their own homes, helping them live safely and comfortably. Their work could include personal care, practical help, companionship, and help with medication.

As a family or unpaid carer, you can play an important role in helping Healthwatch Derbyshire reach professional home care workers.

Healthwatch Derbyshire running a short survey to hear directly from professional home care workers in Derby and Derbyshire, about infection prevention and flu vaccinations.

Hearing from professional home care workers will help improve the support they receive, build their skills, and help to reduce infections. We’ll also find out what training or resources could make their job easier and safer – with all these things helping the people they care for.

The survey is quick, anonymous, and open until 19 October 2025.

Please share the survey link with any professional home care workers you know.
