Are you a Carer aware?

DAACSS would like to invite you to learn more about the important role unpaid Carers play in society and how we can better identify Carers to ensure they have access to appropriate support.

Maybe you are a Social Worker and would like to learn more about the support we provide, a Care Agency Manager, or maybe you’re an employee who would like to better support family members who provide care? Everyone is welcome so why not come along and help us to create Carer-friendly communities and put carers on the map!

The session will cover:

  • To learn who Carers are
  • To understand the impact of a caring role
  • To understand what steps to take if you identify a Carer
  • To be aware of the support available to Carers
  • To consider how your organisation can become more Carer-friendly

We will explore activities that you may not have thought of.

By the end of the session carers will have some relaxation techniques that they can start using today that suit their lifestyle.
