On Saturday 28th January a group of Young Adult Carers came together to enjoy a Wellbeing and Pamper Day. The day began with a relaxed chat and a chance for everyone to get to know one another.   The two therapists, Cheryl and Wendy, then went on to explain to us all about the treatments they could offer and a chance to ask questions. Everyone said how great it was to learn about the treatments and have a chance to decide what they would like to enjoy. There was also a chance to have ‘tasters’ of other treatments alongside the main treatment.

We all took part in some mindfulness and then treatments were enjoyed by all the Young Adult Carers that came along.  It was a very relaxing day and a chance to connect with other Carers of a similar age.  In the afternoon we ended with an aromatherapy workshop.

All the carers that attended said they had a lovely relaxing day and it was a real chance to meet other Young Adult Carers.

We had some lovely comments ……

“it was amazing, thank you so much”

“Thank you for inviting me, I really enjoyed it”

“It was great to have a chance to meet other carers my age, I’ve never done that before, thank you!”

“ It was fun, I had a great time, thank you”
