Join our interactive one and a half hour Carer Awareness training session for professionals working in primary care, including both clinical and non-clinical roles. Led by experienced staff, the training will help you identify patients who are unpaid Carers and understand the best ways to support them. Open to all GP and primary care colleagues.

Monday 16th November - 11am - 1pm - Wellbeing Walk followed by a cuppa.
A gentle stroll around Buxton Park with Jo Askew, our Carer Support Worker, followed by a cuppa and a chat. Please wear sturdy, weather-appropriate footwear and clothing. No booking required - just turn up on the day.
Please bring a small amount of change if you would like to join us for a coffee afterwards.

Manual Handling Training - Learn simple, practical manual handling techniques designed for unpaid Carers. Build confidence, protect your body, and make everyday tasks safer and easier. Empower yourself with skills that support both you and the person you care for.
If there are techniques you’d like to focus on, feel free to tell us beforehand so we can shape the session to suit everyone attending.
