Carers Voice
Derbyshire Carers Association are working towards being a Carer-led service offering the support that you want, in a format that is most helpful to you. This is why we want to hear your voice!
We are currently running consultation and coproduction projects across Derbyshire. We want to listen to the current realities and experiences of being a carer as well as hearing your recommendations for future best practice provision.
We are aware that carers have a huge wealth of experience and knowledge to share, but finding the time to get involved can be challenging. Therefore we have partnered with Timeswap.
TimeSwap is a local service that encourages communities to help each other by sharing skills, talents and time. If you spend an hour sharing your experiences with Derbyshire Carers Association then you could earn time back and receive help from someone else. How to get involved:
South Derbyshire Carers Voice: We want to understand the realities of being a Carer in South Derbyshire, so we want to hear your voice!
Derbyshire Carers Voice: If you would like to be part of our county wide coproduction Carers Voice group, where you help with the prioritising, planning and design of support for carers, we want to hear your voice!
The project will be coming to other areas very soon!
